When I was 11, I watched a PBS special that said every surface is covered in a thin molecular wall. All I heard was, there’s nothing in this world that you’ll ever truly touch.
I made it all the way to 16 without kissing a boy. Afterward, I felt grateful for what I learned at 11. I didn’t kiss any boys for a long time after that. When I did, I chose only those I wouldn’t want to touch in the first place.
