I’ll shave my head purple
We’ll see how it goes again
Tomorrow I start over
I see you in the darkness
The breath of a child
After the ring of fire
Longed for and waited
I blow out the candle
Queasy with joy
The waters break from my eyes
As I wipe the kisses off my floor
While I search the room for your name
I’ll shave my head purple
I’ll see you again
